Learning
The buttons STB, DVD, AUDIO and RADIO can be mapped for the operation
of devices that are not present in the integrated database (Assist Media from
item no. 70230A81). The functions of the selected button are then completely
or partially overwritten with the new codes.

Place the Assist Media with the remote control to be
replaced in such a way that the infrared windows
face each other at a distance of 3-5 cm. The infrared
rays must be aligned exactly on the sensor in the
remote control Assist Media (see the diagram for the
position) horizontally and vertically.

Call the Learning function as described under the
STB function.
A message appears:
Press the button to be matched on this remote
control.
Press the button to be matched on the Assist Media.
A message is displayed: Wait for infrared code.
Press the desired button on the other remote control within
10 sec.
If the code was successfully recognised and saved, the
message is displayed Signal good: please release key
- New infrared code was learnt.
If the alignment is not optimal, the message is displayed:
Signal bad. Then, correct the position of the remote
controls as described above.
If the new code is not recognised, the following message
is displayed: Matching of the button failed.
If required, repeat the procedure for learning other buttons.
