Symptom
Suction power is weak.

2. Charger
Symptom
The charge indicator
lamp rapidly fl ickers
purple, and battery
charging doesn't begin.
The charge indicator
lamp blinks red, and
battery charging
doesn't begin.
Battery usage time is
short even though the
battery is fully charged.
Possible cause
The tank is full of dust or water.
Filter is clogged.
The fi lter is not installed.
(Not set in place)
Plastic bag is incorrectly installed.
Cloth fi lter is not installed.
Cloth fi lter is improperly installed.
Cloth fi lter is damaged.
The battery and/or the unit is
overheated.
The shape or the dimensions of an
attachment part does not match.
Attempting to install a battery other
than that specifi ed for the tool.
Possible cause
The battery is not inserted all the way.
There is foreign matter in the battery
terminal or where the battery is
attached.
The battery is not inserted all the way.
The battery is overheated.
The battery's life is depleted.
Remedy
Dispose of the dust or water.
After that, remove any dust attached to
the cloth/water fi lter.
Conduct air blow dusting or remove the
dust attached to the cloth/water fi lter.
Check to see if the cloth/water fi lter is
properly set.
Properly install the plastic bag.
Properly install the cloth fi lter.
Replace the damaged cloth fi lter.
Get rid of the problem causing the
overburden.
Let the battery and/or the unit cool
down.
Check the model in use and make sure
to use the designated accessories and
attachments listed in this document or
in our catalogue.
Please install a multi volt type battery.
Remedy
Insert the battery fi rmly.
Remove the foreign matter.
Insert the battery fi rmly.
If left alone, the battery will
automatically begin charging if its
temperature decreases, but this may
reduce battery life. It is recommended
that the battery be cooled in a well-
ventilated location away from direct
sunlight before charging it.
Replace the battery with a new one.
