g) Steering the vehicle
Operate the throttle/brake lever for the drive function very carefully and do not drive too fast until you get
used to the responses of the vehicle. Do not make quick jerky movements on the operating elements of the
transmitter.
If the vehicle shows a tendency to pull towards the left or the right, set the steering trim with the "STEERING TRIM"
dial (6) on the transmitter.
When switching between forward and reverse driving, the throttle/brake lever must be briefly in the neutral position
(approx. 1 - 2 seconds) (neutral position = release lever, do not move it). If the throttle/brake lever is moved straight
from forward to reverse without a pause, the drive mechanism's brake function is activated (vehicle will not reverse).
The following figures are for illustrative purposes only and do not necessarily correspond to the design of
the transmitter provided!
1. Release the throttle/brake lever, the vehicle rolls to a halt (or does not move, correct the trim with the "THROTTLE
TRIM" dial on the transmitter, if necessary), the throttle/brake lever is in the centre (neutral) position.
2. Drive forwards, gently pull the throttle/brake lever towards the handle
3. Drive forwards and then brake (vehicle decelerates; does not roll slowly to a halt); push the throttle/brake lever
away from the handle
4. Drive forwards, brake and then drive in reverse: Push the throttle/brake lever away from the handle (braking) with-
out pausing; if the vehicle remains stationary, move the throttle/brake lever to the neutral position briefly (approx.
1 second), then push the throttle/brake lever away from the handle (vehicle will now reverse)
Drive forwards
Brake
If vehicle remains
stationary, wait briefly
(1 second)
Drive in reverse
