10. Close the exhalation valve cover by pushing it inwards until it snaps in
place.
ESA breathing valve cleaning
1.
Fit the sealing plug for ESA breathing valve (32444-51) on the breathing
valve.
2.
Make sure that the breathing hose is still attached on the breathing valve
and pressurize the breathing valve.
3.
Clean the outside of the breathing valve and rinse it thoroughly in clean
water.
4.
Dry the parts thoroughly.
Close the cylinder valve.
Activate the positive pressure to purge air from the system.
5.
When necessary remove the cover and clean the outside of the diaphragm
and the diaphragm ring with a damp cloth, in addition to the above
procedure.
ESA and PE breathing valve - extended cleaning and
disifection
1.
Remove:
a.
Cover with spring
Make sure that the spring stays in the same hooks in the cover when
disassembling, washing and assembling it. If the spring changes
position, the breathing valve has to undergo a performance test before
use.

Diaphragm
c.
O-rings
