2. Intended Use
The Series P 15000 isolated standard signal conditionersare used for galvanic
isolation of 0(4) to 20 mA and 0 to 10 V standard signals. Depending on the
model, input and output signal ranges are permanently set or you can select
calibrated ranges by means of DIP switches. Fine-adjusting is not required for
the models with switch selection. Signal transmission is linear.
The broad-range power supply allows operating the devices with voltages from
22 to 230 V AC/DC ± 10 %. Type H1 is connected by means of pluggable screw
terminals, type F1 by means of fixed screw terminals.
Warning against misuse
Do not operate the device outside the conditions specified by
the manufacturer, as this might result in hazards to operators or
malfunction of the equipment.
CAUTION
The operating company is responsible for the safety of the installation
in which the device is operated.
3. Configuration (P 15000 F1 and P 15000 H1 only)
3.1 Tools
A screwdriver with a width of 3 mm is required to open the device and to
connect the wires to the screw terminals.
3.2 Opening the Device
Disengage the top part of the housing on
both sides using the screwdriver.
Pull out the top part of the housing and
the electronics section until they lock.
