Electrodes, water level
Fig. 20 Electrodes
To check/clean the electrodes, proceed as follows:
1.
Cut off the power supply to the steam generator.
2.
Turn off the incoming water supply to the steam generator
if possible.
3.
Open the front cover on the column as shown in Figs. 15-17.
4.
Disconnect the cables connected to the electrodes.
5.
Remove the electrodes from the level pipe. Clean them
with a cloth to remove any deposits. Replace the electrode
bushing if necessary. See the Spare parts list.
6.
After checking/cleaning, refit the electrodes.
IMPORTANT!
The electrode pins must not have fat
deposits or other deposits on them. The electrode pins must
not touch each other. This could affect the control of the steam
generator water level.
Connect the electrodes as follows (see Fig. 20):
1. Black electrode: High Level - Connector pin H on circuit board
2. White electrode: GND - Connector pin GND on circuit board
3. Red electrode: Mid Level - Connector pin M on circuit board

Setting the water temperature
This may be necessary if the set temperature feels too hot or cold,
depending on your water supply temperature. See Figs. 21-25
