This hood is manufactured in accordance with the health and safety recommendations of EN ISO
11611 Class 1, minimum safety requirements for protective clothing used during welding and re-
lated techniques

HEALTH INFORMATION:
The pH, chromium (VI) and PCP levels are tested and meet European health standards. The colou-
ring is done using natural materials.
WASHING, DRYING AND IRONING:
The fireproof treatment of the product is valid for 5 washes at 40°C maximum. Do not use bleach
or acid products, only standard detergents. A change in size may occur after washing. After was-
hing, the hood must be inspected for damage. Drying and ironing are possible (see permissible
temperature on next page).
STOCKAGE:
Store in a dry and clean place at a temperature above 5°C.
ERGONOMICS AND SAFETY :
This hood has been designed in such a way as not to disturb or expose the wearer to risk. The ma-
terials used for manufacturing were selected from those that offer good performance and adequate
strength and that, to date, show no indications against their use.
APPLICATION
This flame-retardant cotton hood should be used for manual welding with light spatter and droplet
formation. The user must ensure that this hood is properly fitted/closed at his neck and head, espe-
cially for use in welding applications. If molten metal sticks to the garment, the user must remove
the garment immediately. This hood is not waterproof.
This model of hood does not protect against:
- chemical products
- flammable materials
- electrocution
- mechanical shocks
- all other uses not mentioned.
