Safety precautions
Familiarise yourself with the functions of the device before actually using it.
Modifications to the device are not permitted for safety reasons. Any damage caused as
a result of modification is not covered by the warranty.
Only use the device for its intended purpose. Using the device in an unauthorised man-
ner will void the warranty.
Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this manual is not covered by the
warranty and the dealer will not accept responsibility for any ensuing defects.
Do not switch the device on immediately after it has been exposed to changes in tempe-
rature. Protect the device against damage by leaving it switched off until it has reached
room temperature.
This device falls under protection class I; it is therefore essential that it is earthed. Only
connect the device to a socket which has been earthed, is compliant with the general
safety regulations and has been installed by a qualified electrician.
Make sure that the available voltage does not exceed the voltage stated in the specifica-
tions of this manual.
Do not crimp the power cord and protect it against damage. It should be replaced, if
necessary, by an authorised STORCH service centre.
If the protective screen exhibits any cracks, it should be replaced. If you have any queries
regarding customer service and/or spare parts orders, please contact STORCH using the
details mentioned above.
Some fumes or a smell may develop when the device is activated for the first time. This
is normal and will disappear over time.
Any work on the electrical equipment must be conducted by a qualified elec-
trician or a person under the guidance and supervision of an electrician in
line with the electrotechnical regulations.
