This laser scanner was developed, manufactured and tested in line with the appli-
cable safety standards. It corresponds to the state of the art.
Intended use
Laser scanners of the ROD4 series are optoelectronic sensors for optical and con-
tactless detection or measurement of objects.
Areas of application
Laser scanners of the ROD4 series are designed for the following areas of appli-
cation:
– Height/position detection
– Projection monitoring
– Collision protection
– Contour measurement
– Packet measurement

device is operated in a manner not complying with its intended use.
