2.2. Operating safety
• Before using the device for the first time, check the device
for damage. A defective or damaged device may not be
operated.

Risk of injury from electric shock due to live parts.
They pose a risk of electric shock or fire if an unin-
tentional short circuit occurs.
Do not place containers filled with liquid, e.g.
vases, on or near the product, and protect all
the parts from drips or splashes. Such contain-
ers could tip over and the liquid could impair the
electrical safety of the device.
Never open the product housing or power supply
housing and do not push objects inside the prod-
uct through the slots and openings
If the mains adapter, connection cable or device is
damaged, immediately unplug the mains adapter
from the socket.
If liquid or foreign bodies get into the device, un-
plug the network adapter from the socket imme-
diately.
Unplug the mains adapter from the socket if you
are away for a long period or there is a thunder
storm.
