Functions and application
4.1
Manual unlocking
The lock can be unlocked manually at any time by actuating the door hardware.
4.2
Motor-driven release
The motor-driven shoot-bolt lock B-2193x/B-2393x offers the option of releasing a 2-leaf door.
Two release modes are available:
- release of active leaf
- release of active and inactive leaf

position (only B-2393x), control signals are not processed at the inputs I1 and I2.
This means that the door cannot be unlocked by the motor.
4.2.1 Motor-driven release of active leaf
When an impulse (+24 V DC) is received at control input I1, the motor moves the latch trigger out
thus releasing the latch and/or latchbolt.
The relay contact latch (deadbolt) monitoring (terminal 44 and 54) opens. The active leaf can now be
opened. Once the hold-open time has elapsed (7 s in as delivered condition), the latch trigger is once
again retracted and the active leaf can close again. In addition, the signal contact 1 ("Locked"
position reached; terminal 41 and 51) is closed.
