INSTALLATION
Battery connection
This control board has battery connection cable
connectors (24V) for emergency operation in the event
of interruption to the electricity supply. When the
electricity supply returns, the batteries are automatically
recharged through the exterior charger.
The barrier moves at slow speed during battery-run
operation.

Installation Manual
O
The batteries must be connected through an
exterior charger (CHG). Do not connect them
directly to the control board.
1 Connect the battery cable connectors to the exterior
charger (CHG), bearing in mind the polarity.
2 Connect the CHG charger to the control board,
bearing in mind the polarity.
The capacity of the batteries depends on the
characteristics of the facility. Check with your
ERREKA supplier.
We
recommend
installing
photocells.
1 Complete the connections as shown in the figure.
If neither photocells nor a mechanical strip are used,
place an electrical bridge between cable connectors
3 and 4 of the control panel (COM - SG.C).
2 Duly programme the operator:
Closing photocells with pre-testing: C511
Closing photocells without pre-testing: C510
Without closing photocells: C500
For further details on programming, see "Starting up
and programming" on page 59.
If necessary, a magnetic loop can be installed to detect
vehicles.
When a vehicle passes over the loop (LOOP) installed in
the ground, the detector (D.M) sends a key command
to the control panel. Vehicle exit can therefore be done
automatically.
O
Check the loop detector instructions for proper
installation and configuration.
