OBSTACLE DETECTION FUNCTIONING

The barrier can detect an obstacle in two ways:
A- Detection by photocell or safety strip in closing (SG.C)
During opening
If, during opening, the closing safety device (SG.C) is
activated, the barrier continues to open.
B- Direct detection (built-in safety)
During opening
If, during opening, the barrier collides with an obstacle,
it inverts operation direction and slightly closes. The
barrier remains on standby until a key command is
received and the display shows PAF1 or PAE1. The
barrier closes when the key command is used.
6

MANUAL DRIVE

Unlocking should be carried out with caution. If the barrier is not balanced or the arm
is not mounted, the internal spring may cause a violent movement.

DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY

Erreka Automatismos declares that NET barriers have
been designed for use in a machine or for assembly
along with other elements in order to form a machine
in line with Directive 89/392 EEC and successive
modifications.
NET barriers allow for installations in line with Standards
EN 13241-1 and EN 12453, provided any necessary
additional safety devices are installed in accordance
with the specific installation (type of use, user
qualification, location, etc). It is the installer's
responsibility to choose the necessary devices
(photocells, safety strips, etc).
DESCRIPTION OF THE PRODUCT
During closing
If, during closing, the closing safety device (SG.C) is
activated, the barrier inverts operation direction and
opens completely. The display shows OPC5.
During closing
If, during closing, the barrier collides with an obstacle,
it inverts operation direction and opens completely. The
display shows OPF1 or OPE1.
Unlocking for manual operation:
If necessary the barrier can be activated manually:
1 Turn the key (1) and remove the cover (2).
2 Turn the wing knob (3) as far as possible to the right.
Simultaneously activate the microswitch (4) which
prevents motorised operation.
3 Place the cover and lock.
Motorised operation locking:
Release by turning the wing knob to the left.
After locking, when a key command is sent to the
operator, this will carry out a reset (rS) consisting of
closing at slow speed in order to search for the
closing stopper.
NET barriers comply with safety legislation in line with
the following directives and standards:
• 2006/42/CE (machinery directive)
• 2006/95/CE (low voltage materials)
• 2004/108/EC (electromagnetic compatibility)
• EN 60555-2
