DISMOUNTING THE ARM

The barrier becomes imbalanced whenever the
arm is dismounted, meaning it is necessary to
proceed with caution and ensure people do not
enter the sphere of operation of the arm.
The two sections of the arm can be dismounted
together. To do this, place the barrier in vertical
position and then dismount the attachment flange
by releasing the 6 M8 screws and the metal sheet
screw.

Unlocking
1 Unlock the operator.
2 Loosen the counternut (2) to release the tensioner.
3 Use the nut (1) to tighten the spring until the barrier
4 Tighten the counternut (2) to lock the tensioner.

manual or motorised mode.
THE BARRIER MUST BE BALANCED FOR PROPER
OPERATION.

Disassembly can also be carried out in two stages (in
reverse order to assembly): firstly, with the barrier in
horizontal position, dismount the second section in
reverse order to disassembly (see"Mount the second
arm section (the one with the smallest diameter)" on
page 55).
Secondly, with the barrier in vertical position,
dismount the first section in reverse order to
assembly (see "Mount the first arm section (the one
with the largest diameter)" on page 55.
