Trouble shooting

The motor does not work

• Check the power supply.
• Check the cabling of the platen and the motor.
• Check the battery of the remote control.
• Check that the remote control has been correctly recorded (see recording pro-

cedure page 4).
• Check the right positioning of the antenna (page "warnings").
• Check that there is no radio interference from other radio equipment (ie :

wireless head phones).
• Make a test with the remote control closer to the platen.

The roller shutter stops too soon
• Check that the motor has been correctly mounted and set (refer to the motors
instruction manual).

The motor runs in the wrong way
• Check that the remote control is used in the right position : the Somfy logo
must be readable at the bottom of the control and the pressing on the upper

button must wind the roller shutter.
• Do a complete re-programming : erase the memory (page 12 or 13) and do
the programming again (page 3).

Le moteur ne fonctionne pas
• Vérifier l'alimentation.
• Vérifier le câblage de la platine et du moteur.
• Vérifier la pile de la télécommande.
• Vérifier la bonne mémorisation de la télécommande (voir procédure d'enregis-
trement page 4).
• Vérifier le bon positionnement de l'antenne (page " mise en garde ").
• Vérifier l'absence d'interférences radio provenant d'autres appareils radio (ex :
casque radio).
• faire un essai en approchant la télécommande de la platine.
Le moteur s'arrête trop tôt
• Vérifier le bon montage ainsi que le réglage du moteur (se reporter à la notice
d'installation moteur).
Le moteur tourne dans le mauvais sens
• Vérifier que la télécommande est utilisée dans la bonne position : le logo Somfy
doit être lisible en bas et l'appui sur la touche du haut doit enrouler le volet
roulant.
• Procéder à une re-programmation complète : Effacement complet de la
mémoire (page 12 ou 13) et re-programmation de la platine (page 3).

De buismotor werkt niet :

Controleer
• Of er netspanning aanwezig is; of de buismotor correct is aangesloten
• Of de buismotor 'thermisch' is uitgeschakeld (beveiliging). Wacht 10 à 15 minuten
tot de buismotor is afgekoeld
• Controleer of de antenne juist geplaatst is (pag. "waarschuwingen")
• Of de batterij van het bedieningspunt niet leeg is
• Of het juiste draadloze bedieningspunt is toegepast
• Of het bedieningspunt juist is geprogrammeerd
• Of er sprake kan zijn van apparatuur die mogelijke storingen veroorzaken
De buismotor stopt te vroeg
• Controleer of de motor goed is gemonteerd en afgesteld (raadpleeg de
montagehandleiding van de motor).
De draairichting van de motor is verkeerd
• Controleer of de handzender op de juiste manier gebruikt wordt: het Somfy-logo
moet onderaan zitten en leesbaar zijn.en bij indrukken van de bovenste toets moet
het rolluik omhoog gaan.
Ga helemaal terug naar de fabrieksstand: wis het geheugen
volledig (blz. 12 of 13) en programmeer opnieuw.(blz. 3)
