Notes on documentation
This installation and short user's guide is intended for experienced trained specialists and contains only

the most important information concerning the assembly, installation and function of the CMC III Power
Unit (subsequently called power unit).

Safety instructions
– Assembly and installation of the device may only be performed by experienced trained specialists.
– Any required mains power connection or a mains power wiring as part of the power unit wiring may
only be performed by an experienced electrician.
– The power unit housing must not be opened.
– The power unit may not come in contact with water, aggressive or inflammable gases and vapours.
– The power unit may only be operated within the specified environmental conditions (see Section 3.4).

Product description
3.1
Functional description
With the power unit, the 230 V power supply can be switched to devices and electrical values such as
voltage, current, power and consumption (kWh) can be measured. The power unit initialises itself auto-
matically after connection to the CAN bus system.
3.2
Proper use
The power unit is used only for the power supply to connected electrical consumers and for measuring
various electrical values. Any other use is not permitted.
