Operation
1. Connect the hydraulic coupling of the crimping head with the hose of the hydraulic pump (max. 700 bar).
2. Insert the dies in the crimping head. Make sure that they lock in the ball seat properly.
Do not put pressure on the crimping head without inserted dies.
3. Position the cable shoe or cable connector in the crimping head.
4. Activate the hydraulic pump to start the crimping process. Do not work with a high feed rate. The crimping head
has to have time to convert the built up pressure into feed force. After the crimping process. activate the
pressure relief valve of the hydraulic pump to put the dies back in the starting position.
5. To change the dies push them out on the side until they are loosend from the ball seat.
Care
Clean the tool after each use and replace it in its transport case. In case of long-time storage it is necessary to
slightly grease the tool parts. Keep the tool inside a well-ventilated room. Avoid fast temperature changes in order
to prevent condensation.
