Assembly instructions
The assembly of the CAN bus access is made as shown in Fig. 2.
• Mount the CAN bus access so that the front with the transmitter and receiver is pointing to the mon-
itored door.
• Stick the enclosed reflective foil on the door and the side wall exactly opposite of the IR sensor.
Note:
The distance between the IR sensor in the CAN-Bus Access and the reflective foil must
not exceed 10 cm. Please reposition the CAN-Bus Access accordingly, if necessary.

Installation
• If required, connect the following connection accessory to the appropriate connection (Fig. 3,
Pos. 6, 7).
– CMC III coded lock (DK 7030.220)
– CMC III transponder reader unit (DK 7030.230)
– Electromagnetic Ergoform-S handle (DK 7320.700)
– Electromagnetic TS 8 handle with master key function with and without CCP (DK 7320.721)
– Universal latch (DK 7320.730)
– Room door output (DK 7320.740)
– Handle system for universal installation (DK 7320.950)
– Left-hand outdoor handle (DK 7320.725)
– Right-hand outdoor handle (DK 7320.726)
• Connect the CAN bus access with a CAN bus connection cable to the CMC III PU or to the neigh-
bouring elements on the CAN bus (Fig. 3, Pos. 4, 5).
