Terms and Abbreviations

The terms used in this maintenance manual

Anchor point
Verified construction element to which the
suspension rope, cable or chain, safety rope or
cable, pulleys and lifting mechanism can be
securely and separately attached.
Hoisting equipment or machine for lifting
loads
Device that allows the vertical transfer of loads
by means of a motorised traction system (for
example, a cable hoist or block and tackle with
cable and a swivel hook).
Supervisor
Person or department responsible for the
management and safe use of the product
described in this manual.
Operator
Person responsible for the correct use and
operation of the system/equipment and for
carrying out maintenance tasks at required
intervals when given the necessary instructions
Manufacturer
Person or company responsible for the design,
manufacture, assembly, and sale of a product
or system, as well as for complying with the
current regulations and standards applicable to
said product or system. They are also in charge
of after-sales service and the supply of spare
parts.
End customer
Person or company that acquires a product or
system for its intended use, either directly or
through third parties.

Description of equipment

The tirak™ transport trolley is designed for the
safe and ergonomic transport of the X500,
X700, X800, X1020, X1230 and X1530 series
tirak™ hoist to the working area (fig. 1).
The tirak™ transport trolley is made of the
