• Check the device for damage before commissioning. If a device is damaged, disconnect it
from the power supply. Do not use the device again afterwards - take it to a specialist work-
shop.
• Never pour out liquids above electrical devices and never leave objects filled with liquids (e.g.
vases) close to the device. There is great danger of fire or potentially fatal electric shock. If
such a case does occur, disconnect the mains adapter or mains plug from the mains socket
immediately and consult an expert.
• Do not expose the device to any high temperatures, dripping or splashing water, strong vibra-
tions or heavy mechanical stress.
• Do not place any open sources of fire, such as burning candles, on or directly next to the
device.
• Any devices not in use must be powered down. For this, pull the mains plug or mains adap-
ter.
• Never operate the device unattended.
• Do not use the device in a tropical climate.
• Never operate the fog machine without fog liquid; it would otherwise be damaged.

• Also observe the additional safety information in the individual sections of these operating
instructions.
• In commercial or public facilities, many laws and regulations of the employers' liability insu-
rance associations must be observed for electrical systems and equipment, etc., e.g. regar-
ding the prevention of accidents. As the operator, you are obliged to collect information on
this from the appropriate offices and authorities and you are responsible for compliance with
the applicable laws and regulations.
