If a repair is not done properly there is a risk of injury or damage!
Incorrect repair or modifications to the Drehantrieb may result in the risk of injury or
damage.
When repairing a Drehantrieb, use only spare parts and reconditioning kits listed in the
product catalog.
Malfunction
The shaft does not reach the
desired position.

Serious leakage.
Serious end cover impacts.
Poor running characteristics. Oil in the Drehantrieb.

Slight leakage is normal for this type of Drehantrieb.

Possible cause
Pressure low or absent.
The seal is damaged. Leakage
due to solid matter in the
compressed air.
The pistons in the hydraulic
shock absorber does not return
to initial position.
Too high working pressure.
Too high oscillation speed.
Too high load.
Lack of lubrication, eg due to
extreme use.

Remedy
Check the connected pressure.
Otherwise, check the seal.
Check the seal of the shaft. Replace if
necessary. Available as a
reconditioning kit; see the product
catalog.
Re-fill oil to the hydraulic shock
absorber.
Check that the maximum working
pressure has not been exceeded; see
"Technical data".
Check that the maximum oscillation
speed has not been exceeded; see the
product catalog.
Check that the maximum torque has
not been exceeded; see the product
catalog.
Wipe clean and lubricate the
Drehantrieb. Check the oil content of
the compressed air.
Replace seals and lubricate the
Drehantrieb. Available as a
reconditioning kit; see the product
catalog.
