IMPORTANT GUIDELINES
The blender is equipped with a built-in safety lock that prevents it from functioning if the jar assembly
has been assembled and used incorrectly.
Before operating this appliance, please read these instructions completely.
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:
• Before you connect the appliance to the supply mains, check that the voltage indicated on the rating
label found underneath the machine, corresponds to that of the local mains.
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
• To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse the motor base, the power cord, or plug in water
or any other liquid.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Never leave the appliance unattended when in use.
• Unplug the appliance when not in use and before cleaning or maintenance operation. Allow to cool
before putting on or taking off parts.
• Avoid contacting moving parts.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by Solis or by a servicing centre authorized by Solis,
in order to avoid a hazard.
• In the event of faults, defects or a suspected defect, immediately take the plug out of the socket-
outlet. Never put the defective appliance into operation ONLY SOLIS OR SERVICING CENTRES
AUTHORIZED BY SOLIS CAN MAKE REPAIRS. SOLIS declines all responsibility for a damage caused
by repair jobs performed incorrectly.
• Use this appliance only for its use as described in this manual. The use of accessory attachments not
recommended by SOLIS may result in fire, electric shock or injury to persons.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
• Keep hands and utensils out of container while blending to reduce the risk of severe injury to persons or
damage to the blender. A scraper may be used but must be used only when the blender is not running.
• Blades are sharp. Handle carefully.
