Using the filter cartridge
Remove the device head from the container and put it on its head (Fig. "B4"). Put
the filter cartridge in its mount, press in tight and screw tight in place clockwise
using the Tommy screw located on the base. (Fig. "B4".)
Check the tight fit of the filter cartridge by pulling it upwards slightly (Fig. "B5").
Put the device head back on and hook in place. The filter cartridge is used when
you have to vacuum dust and solid dirt.
The filter cartridge can be enhanced by using the dust sack or fleece filter bag at
the same time that avoids the blockage of the filter cartridge. Do not use the dust
bag and fleece filter bag for objects that are sharp or wet.

This filter ensures that the air being directed to the room is free of dust.

Using the device

... as a vacuum cleaner
The filter cartridge must always be inserted.
ATTENTION: in order to ensure for a high vacuum performance,
always keep the filter cartridge clean. In event of intensive crusting,
clean or replace immediately.
... for vacuuming fluids
Always remove the filter cartridge.
ATTENTION: a safety float switch interrupts the vacuuming automati-
cally once the fluid tank has reached the highest level. You can recog-
nise this by the increased speed of the motor. In this case, empty the
fluid container.
... for vacuuming greater amounts of fluid (Fig. "C1")
If fluid has to be vacuumed from tanks, take care the the gap nozzle is not com-
pletely immersed int he fluid in order to ensure for the air supply.
... with an electric tool (Fig. "C2" - "C3")
First connect the hose with the vacuum end piece (Fig. "C2") and then the end
with the electric tool, use the universal machine adapter made of rubber for this.
(Fig. "C3".). Connect the electric tool and the device electrically as described
under point "A3". Position the switch as described under point "A2".
