Connecting an electric tool to the wet and dry vacuum cleaner
First put the plug of the electric tool into the socket in the head of the wet and
dry vacuum cleaner and only after that, connect the plug of the wet and dry vacu-
um cleaner to the mains supply.
ATTENTION: the socket in the suction head is suitable for connecting
electric tools with a nominal power of up to 2,000 Watt.
The following must always be observed when operating the electric tool via the
socket of the VarioVac 50:
ATTENTION: never use electric tools that have a nominal power that
is higher than that specified under the socket.
Never connect more than one electric device to the device.
Filter systems
(Fig. "B1")
Using the dust bag (paper filter sack) (Fig. "B1")
Use the dust bag only with the filter cartridge inserted.
The dust bag guarantees that vacuum cleaning takes place under hygienic condi-
tions.
The dust sack can be damaged when vacuuming material that is sharp or wet.
The dust sack must be replaced once it is filled two thirds with dust. The dust
sack must not be reused, always use a new one.
Using the fleece filter bag (Fig. "B3")
The fleece filter bag must only be used when the filter cartridge is inserted.
Insert the fleece filter bag into the container (Fig. "B3) after you have removed
the head of the device (see Fig. "A1").
Fold the upper edge of the fleece filter bag over the upper edge of the container
(see Fig. "B3").
This fleece filter bag is especially suitable for filtering micro dust such as, e.g.,
cement, talcum powder, etc. Never use the fleece filter bag for objects that are
sharp or wet.
