REAR BRAKES
The rear wheels have linked brakes, which can be applied simultaneously to
the two double rear wheels by using only one pedal.
27. To apply the brakes, push one of the two levers located at the centre of the
rear wheels in a downward direction, as shown in diagram 27.
28. To unlock the braking system, push one of the two levers located at the
centre of the rear wheels in an upward direction, as shown in diagram 28.
WARNING: Always apply the brakes whenever the stroller is stationary.
WARNING: Never leave the stroller on a sloped surface, with a child onboard,
even with the brakes applied.
WARNING: After operating the brake lever, ensure that the brakes have been
correctly applied to both of the rear wheel units.
SWIVEL WHEELS
The stroller has front swivel or fixed wheels.
29. To unlock the swivel wheels, lower the lever located between the two
wheels. Use the swivel wheels on smooth surfaces. To lock the wheels, push
the lever in an upward direction (diag. 29).
WARNING: the swivel wheels make the stroller easier to manoeuvre; on uneven
surfaces it is recommended to use locked front wheels to guarantee the safe
use of the stroller (on gravel, unpaved roads, etc.).
WARNING: All the wheels must always be locked or unlocked at the same time.

FOLDING THE STROLLER

WARNING: carry out this operation making sure that your child, or other children,
are at a safe distance. Make sure that during these phases, the moving parts of
the stroller do not come into contact with the child's body.
30. Fold the canopy, pulling it towards you as shown in figure 30.
31. Pull both levers on the handles upward; keeping them pulled, release the
rear U-joint, pushing it upward with your toe (fig. 31).
32. Grab the folding handle and pull upward, until the stroller is completely
folded and locked (fig. 32).
33. To further reduce the overall sizes of the stroller when closed, you can adjust
the handles downwards (fig. 33).
The folded and locked stroller will stand upright by itself.

REMOVING THE BACKREST

The backrest can be removed to facilitate securing the carrycot and car seat.
34. To remove the backrest, unhook the fabric covers of the armrests using
the press buttons (fig. 34).
35. Release the press buttons located under the seat on both sides, as shown
in fig. 35.
36. Lift the leg rest and remove the cover (fig. 36A) paying attention to the
threading of the leg-divider's crotch safety strap (fig. 36B).
37. Act on the rear release button and remove it from the pin (fig. 37). Repeat
the operation on the other side.
38. Act on the front release button and remove the backrest tube from its
coupling (fig. 38). Repeat the operation on the other side.
39. At this point, you can lift the backrest and cover.
HOW TO USE THE CHILD CAR SEAT AND CARRYCOT
The CHICCO strollers featuring the CLIK CLAK system on the armrests allow
you to fit the carrycot and/or child car seat to the frame of the stroller without
using any additional devices.
To fit or remove the carrycot or child car seat, please refer to the specific
instructions supplied.
WARNING: Only the CHICCO child car seats and carrycots featuring the CLIK
CLAK devices can be fitted to the stroller. Before using the stroller with the
carrycot or child car seat fitted to it, always check that the locking system is
locked into the correct position.
ONLY USE ACCESSORIES FITTED WITH THE SPECIFIC CLIK CLAK SYSTEM.
40. WARNING: The incorrect locking of these accessories to the stroller frame
may jam the locking system and prevent their removal. In this case, unlock
the locking devices manually with a screwdriver, by turning the levers located
under the armrests (diagram 40).
Please read carefully the instruction booklets on how to use the carrycot
and child car seat.
ACCESSORIES:
WARNING: The accessories described below may not be available for some
versions of this product. Please read carefully the instructions on the accessories
available for the model purchased.

RAIN COVER

The stroller may come with a rain cover.
41. Fit the rain cover, as shown in diagram 41. After use, if the rain cover is wet,
let it dry in the air before folding the rain cover to store it.
WARNING: Be extremely careful when using the rain cover.
WARNING: Do not use the rain cover if the stroller is not fitted with hood to
prevent the risk of suffocation. When the rain cover is fitted to the stroller,
never leave the stroller with the child onboard to prevent the risk of the child
overheating.
LEG COVER
The stroller may come with a leg cover, in some configurations.
42. The leg cover is created by using the carrycot apron (fig. 42).
43. To attach the leg cover, insert the leg rest in the pocket at the foot end
of the leg cover. Then pass the upper edge under the bumper bar. (fig. 43).
44. Secure the leg cover to the stroller as shown in figure 44A and 44B.
BAG
Some versions have a practical holder bag which can be used with the strap.
45. Fasten the bag to the stroller using the strap as seen in diagram 45.
WARNING: Do not overload the bag with weights of over 2 kg.
WARNING: Exceeding this limit may compromise the stability of the stroller
and cause it to topple over.
