USE

The freezer is marked with the
fresie food and long-term storage of frozen food.

Cleaning the interior

Before using the appliance for the first time, wash the
interior and all internal accessories with lukewarm
water and some neutral soap so as to remove the
typical smell of a brand-new product, then dry
thoroughly.
Do not use detergents or abrasive powders,
as these will damage the finish.
Freezer controls

Starting up

Insert the plug into the wall socket. Turn the
thermostat control knob (2) clockwise beyond
position «O» (OFF). The pilot light (1) will light up to
show that the appliance is on. Freezer operation
can be halted by turning knob (2) to position «O».

Temperature regulation

Turn knob beyond the «O» position.
To safely store frozen and deep-frozen foods, the
inner temperature of the freezer must be at least
-18°C or colder. Therefore, we suggest you turn the

knob to a medium setting.
The temperature inside the freezer is automatically
adjusted to ensure safe storage of the food.
However if the appliance works in unfavourable room
conditions such as poor ventilation, high ambient
temperature and frequent door openings, it might be
necessary to select a more suitable setting.

Turn knob towards "6" to obtain lower
temperatures and, conversely, towards "1" if a less
cold temperature is required. Freezer operation can
be halted by turning knob

Quick freezing

Activate fast freeze by depressing the fast freeze
switch (4). The pilot lamp (1) will then light up. The
SUPER function can be ended by pressing the button
(4) again. The yellow light goes out.
If the quick-freezing function is not ended manually,
the appliance switch off the quick-freezing function
after 52 hours. The yellow light goes out.
