 To guarantee the protection class IP 65 according to EN 60529, the connecting cable has
to have a sheathing diameter of between 4.5 and 10 mm.
 Furthermore, ensure that all seals ,  and  at the plug connector are inserted correctly.

5.3 Sensor plug M12x1 (4-pole)

 Only use suitable M12x1 coupling sockets for the connection. These are supplied as ac-
cessories with either a directly moulded cable or for self-assembly.
