OTHER FAULTS
1.
THE SIDE STAND SENSOR DOES NOT WORK
A faulty side stand sensor can be dangerous and it is important to check its operation.
If the sensor does not work, the motorcycle can be put into active mode without
raising the stand.
It is advisable to check the kickstand sensor, located near the left foot rest of the
motorcycle. The central part of the sensor must turn with the stand during use. Check
the condition of the sensor, the tightening of the screw and the alignment of the
sensor bracket with the stand.
If the sensor lug for the rotational engagement is broken, the kickstand sensor should
be replaced.
2.
CHAIN NOISE
Check the tension and lubrication.
Change the chain and sprocket every 1500km or 2 years off-road.
3.
SOFT BRAKE LEVERS
If the operation of the brake levers does not allow for satisfactory braking or the lever
clearance becomes insufficient, the guard adjustment at the lever must be checked.
Using an allen wrench, re-tighten the adjusting screw located between the lever and
the handlebar until the desired clearance is obtained.
If this operation is not sufficient, changing the pads and bleeding the brakes may be
necessary. See the change section.
