GENERAL MAINTENANCE
Like an electric vehicle, the necessary maintenance of the LMX 161 is easy.
The main maintenance consists of cleaning, checking the tightness of the bolts and
spokes, as well as the pressure of the tires and the chain tension.
The condition check of the suspension links must be done every 5 rides. In case of
perceptible play, change the dry bushings of the linkage. The linkages are designed to
run dry, without grease, however after each cleaning a spray of lubricant or degreasing
spray can be passed over the area to drive out moisture and prevent corrosion of the
axes.

components as the chain and sprockets should be replaced every 2 years, unless an
abnormal wear is detected.
Brake maintenance is also very important to maintain optimal braking performance,
refer to the brake manufacturer's recommendations and this manual for changing
pads.
