CLEANING AND DRAINING THE FORK

Recommended cleaning and lubrication intervals are as follows:
-
After the first 50 hours of use
-
Every 6 months
It is important to clean and lubricate the inside of the fork to maintain optimum
performance.
For fork maintenance operations, refer to the corresponding manual.

6.
CHAIN TENSION

1.
Check the chain tension

It is important to check the tension of the chain
before every ride. It should not be too loose to
avoid derailing or being too tight to keep the
swing arm free and avoid breakage.

To control it, mount the motorcycle on a
motorcycle lift to unload the rear wheel.

Position your rule on the swingarm and then
measure the gap between the highest attainable
point and the lowest point.

There should be a difference of about 20 mm.
