Four Turbelle
electronic with sequential pump circuit and time x set
Port 8
Sequential pump circuit (Fig. 5)
The pumps connected are started one after the other, which
permits a swelling flow. For this action a minimum of two pumps
is required. The pump on port (8) is not switched off. By means of
changeable time intervals, all downstream pumps on ports (9),
(10), and (11) are switched on. After the time interval has run
down, all pumps, with the exception of the pump on port (8), are
switched off until the beginning of the next new time interval.
For the sequential pump circuit, switch (13) has to be brought
into the lower position, and pulsed operation has to be switched
off on button (1) (cf. Pulsed operation). The power can be set on
buttons 4a and 6a for the respective channel. The first pump should
be connected to port (8), the second to port (9), the third to port
(10), et cetera. Note: The sequential pump circuit will operate
only, if at least one pump has been connected to port (8) and
another pump to port (9).
Switch (12) and button (5) can be used to set the time of the
pump circuit. The times for switch (12) and button (5) printed on
the multicontroller apply for interval operation and not for the
sequential pump circuit. For the change-over from the pump on
port (8) to the pump on port (9), the times change as follows:
1 to 12 hours
->
7 to 75 minutes
->
1 to 7 minutes
->
The range within the switch position can be varied on button (5).
The time interval set doubles for the downstream pumps.
Chance flow
A chance flow will occur, if the multicontroller is operated with
sequential pump circuit and pulsed operation.
Foodtimer
Your multicontroller has been equipped with a foodtimer, which
shuts down the connected pump(s) for approx. 5 to 8 minutes
after actuation of the foodtimer button (3). In the process, the
control LED 6 will go off. After the time of the foodtimer has run
down, LED 6 will light up again, and the pump(s) will start operating
as well. Thus, it is impossible to forget to switch the system on
after feeding. A remote control button (article No. 7090.10) is
available as an accessory to be connected to port (9).

What has happened, if ...
... the LED (2) does not light up when the power supply units
are connected, and the pumps do not work.
·
The foodtimer is active at the moment. Wait for 5 to 10 minutes
until the foodtimer time has run down. The system will start
automatically.
·
The cable connectors have been connected to the wrong
ports.
·
The cable connectors from the driver to the multicontroller
have been interrupted. Please check the connection for any
potential corrosion damage or defective cable.
·
The Turbelle

connected have a functional failure. Please
check whether the Turbelle
... the pumps operate at a very low power only.
·
The photo-electric cell does not get enough light
(contamination with algae or wrong attachment). Clean the
photo-electric cell or attach in a new position.
·
The power controller on the driver of the pump has not been
set to 100 %. Please set the power controller to 100 %. Ope-
ration is possible with less pumping capacity, but the pumps
may come to a standstill in case of very low settings. The wear
damage resulting will cause the exclusion from guarantee.
... your multicontroller does not operate whatever you do.
In this case the unit seems to be defective. Please return the
multicontroller complete with all accessories (photo-electric
cell, cable connector, remote control button for foodtimer, if
applicable) to the manufacturer enclosing a description of the
failure as detailed as possible.
Guarantee
Your TUNZE unit carries a guarantee of twelve (12) months after
the date of purchase covering all material and workmanship
defects. Defective units should be returned well-packed, together
with the sales slip, to the retailer or manufacturer.
Exclusion from guarantee
This guarantee does not cover any claims for compensation
beyond the unit itself. Any damage caused by incorrect handling,
connection to external voltage or any technical modifications made
by the purchaser, irrespective of their nature, shall not be covered
under this guarantee.
