Operation angle indicator.
Set the ladder at the correct angle.
When the angle indicator
completely green, the ladder is at
the correct angle. If red is still visi-
ble at the top or bottom of the angle
indicator, the ladder is not at the
correct angle. Adjust the angle of
the ladder until the angle indicator
fully shows the green mark.
Maintenance angle indicator.
Periodically check the angle indica-
tor by slowly tilting the ladder back
and forth to see if the angle indica-
tor moves freely. Do not use the
angle indicator if it is damaged or
does not move freely.
Extending the ladder
Extending the ladder by a few
rungs
If you do not extend the
ladder to its full length,
the blocks
remaining rungs that are not
extended must be located at the top
end of the ladder with the protec-
tive caps

Extending the ladder to its total
length

level ground.
2. Stabilise the ladder by placing a
foot on the support foot
3. Extend the ladder from the top
down, rung by rung until the total
length is reached (see fig. E and
F).Keep in mind that the locking
devices of the ladder only lock
when you have extended the lad-
der to its total length.
4. Make sure that each and every
ladder section is locked before
you climb onto the ladder (see
section "Locking device").
Retracting the ladder
If you activate the lowest
unlock keys (on the sec-
ond rung from below), all
rungs of the above ladder section
are automatically unlocked and
retracted. If you begin with one of
the upper rungs, this only unlocks
the rungs above it and the rungs
below must be unlocked separately.
1. Make sure that the ladder stands
on a solid and level ground.
