19. This machine gets hot when it is in use. To prevent burns, do not let bare skin come into contact
with hot surfaces.
20. Do not use a timer or a similar product to automatically switch on the heater. Always perform
safety checks before using the heater!
21. Close supervision is necessary when the product is used near children or incapacitated persons.
Do not let children use the appliance as a toy. This appliance is not suitable to be operated by
children or persons who have physical, sensory and/or mental limitations, or by persons who have
no knowledge of, or experience with, this appliance.
22. Keep the heater clean. Dust, dirt and/or a build up of deposits in the heater are a common cause
of overheating. Make sure these deposits are removed regularly.
23. Do not turn on the appliance if you have discovered damage to the appliance, cord or plug, if the
appliance is malfunctioning, if it has been dropped or when there are signs of any other defect.
Return the complete product to the vendor or to a certified electrician for inspection and/or repair.
Always ask for original parts.
24. Do not use attachments and/or accessories that have not been recommended or supplied by the
manufacturer.
25. The appliance (incl. cord and plug) may only be opened and/or repaired by properly authorised
and qualified persons.

If the supply cord or plug is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similar
qualified body or person in order to avoid hazard.
27. Only use this heater for its intended purpose and as described in this instruction manual.
Not abiding by instructions 24, 25, 26 and 27 may lead to damage, fire and/or personal injuries. A
failure to adhere to these rules also immediately nullifies the guarantee and vendor, importer and/or
manufacturer do not take responsibility for any of the consequences!
Safety precautions for use with children:
28. To prevent burns, make sure that your child does not lie without clothing underneath the device for
too long. The maximum period of heat emission may not exceed 10 minutes.
29. The distance of 100 cm between your baby and the Baby Heater must be observed.
30. Babies with a high temperature may not be exposed to the heat of the Baby Heater, because then
overheating of the body cannot be ruled out.
31. Make sure that your child is unable to look directly into the heat lamp.
Description
Positioning and wall attachment
Remove all packaging material and keep out of reach of children. After removing packaging,
check the appliance for damage or other signs that could indicate a fault/defect/malfunction. In
case of doubt, do not use the appliance, but contact your vendor for inspection or replacement.
Select a firm, vertical wall made of non-flammable material which cannot melt. The device has to
be fitted at least 180 cm above the floor (3), at least 35 cm below the ceiling or another canopy
(1) and (when used in a nursery) at least a metre above the changing table (2). Take into account
the position of the socket.
Remove the plastic cap that covers the wall holder. Now hold the wall holder against the wall in
the chosen position (perfectly horizontal!) and mark off the drill holes on the walls. Take into
account any wires or pipes that may run through the wall!
