5 HOW DO I CONNECT THE GIGAVIDEO TO MY PC?

The GigaVideo has to be connected to the TV-out or Video-out of the PC. The connection can
usually be found on the graphics card. The signal needs to be a so-called 'composite video
signal'. This is also called CVBS. The connection on your graphics card can look as follows:
• RCA yellow connection. If your PC is fitted with this type of connection, the GigaVideo
cable can be directly connected to the RCA connector of the GigaVideo.
• DIN plug (S-Video connection). This is a round connector that looks like the PS2 connector
of your mouse (a round plug with several holes). If you have this type of connection, you
cannot directly connect the GigaVideo transmitter to the PC, but need an adapter. This
adapter 'converts' the S-Video signal into a composite video signal. This adapter is usually
supplied with the graphics card (or PC) with TV-out. You can also get this adapter from
