Unpacking the device
• Do not use sharp or pointed objects for opening the
package to avoid damage to the device.
• Open the package and take out the device (1).
• Store the package or dispose of it in accordance with
applicable regulations.

transportation
• Check the device for damage sustained during
transportation.
• Do not use a device that is damaged.
• If necessary, contact the responsible dealer.

5.2 Fitting the wall-mounted power dis-
tributor

The device is solely intended for vertical installation on
a wall. The usage position is determined by the open-
ing direction of the hinged lids of the sockets.

5.2.1 Installation preparation

• Use an appropriate tool to open the required cable
entry (1) either at the top side or the bottom side of the
housing.
• Fit a cable gland in the opening that meets the relevant
protection class requirements.
