The triangle containing a lightning symbol is used to indicate whenever your health is at risk (due to electrocution,
for example).
An exclamation mark in a triangle indicates particular risks in handing or operating the appliance.
SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS
 DISCONNECT DEVICE
Where the MAINS plug or an appliance coupler is used as the disconnect device, the disconnect device shall
remain readily operable.

• The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and that no objects filled with liquids, such as
vases, shall be placed on the apparatus.
• Keep a minimum distance around the unit to ensure sufficient cooling.
• Do not obstruct the ventilations openings or the fans by objects such as newspapers, table cloths,
curtains, etc.
• Do not put any heat generating devices or open fire such as candles on the unit.
• The unit should only be used in moderate climates

• Always read the manual prior to using the equipment and keep it in a place where everyone can read it.

• Make sure that no small objects or liquids can get in to the appliance.
• Only clean the appliance with a slightly moist dust-free cloth. Do not use cleaning products or solutions!
• The appliance contains no user replaceable parts. All repairs must be carried out by a qualified technician.
• If the appliance is defective, it must be repaired by a qualified technician.
• Keep the equipment out of the reach of children.
Do not attempt to repair the equipment yourself or make any changes of any kind; this will invalidate the
guarantee. The guarantee is not applicable if accidents and damages of any form are caused as a result of
improper use and/or disrespect of the warnings in general contained in this manual. The manufacturer
cannot be held responsible for any personal injuries, damages and losses of any form as a consequence of
not following the safety instructions and warnings.
Operation
The light effect must be directly connected to the mains without using a light controller or a dimmer. Plug the
unit into a mains outlet to switch it on.
Insertion or replacement of the lamp
First unplug the unit from the mains. Unscrew the two clamp screws from the lamp cap via a suitable
crosshead screwdriver. Remove the cap and the faulty lamp. Insert a new lamp featuring the same voltage
and wattage (230V/15W small fitting). Screw the lamp cover in place and plug the unit into a mains outlet.
