combination with the car seat belt.
Checking the seat belt buckle posi-
tion
The position of the seat belt buckle can affect the
stability of the child safety seat. In an accident
this could stop the child car seat from protec-
ting your child as well as it should. If the buckle
lies across the seat as shown in the picture, this
child safety seat is not suitable for use with this
seat belt or vehicle. Pic.2.
Verify that the seat on which you intend to intall
the child car seat is fit for the use in particular
concerning the space and the correct position of
the seat belt ( fig. 3). Verify that the seat belt is
not twisted and that the excess of seat belt is
retracted in the seat belt retractor in the different
conditions of regulation. In case of doubt contact
the retailer or the manifacturer.
ATTENTION: The backrest of the child car
seat has to adhere to the seat of the vehicle (
Fig. 4). If necessary, remove the car seat head
rest.

Install the child car seat on the appropriate ve-

hicle seat. Make sure the vehicle seat is upright
and in its most rearward position.
After placing the child in the child car seat, fasten
the vehicle safety belt, pass the lap and diagonal
harness, respectively, over the pelvis and chest
of the child (Pic. 5). The diagonal harness part
must be inserted in the backrest harness-guide
above the child's shoulders. Always ensure the
safety harness is taut, pulling the diagonal part
upwards make sure all extra belt is wound up by
the reel and make sure it is not twisted.

Make sure that the diagonal cars seat belt sec-
tion passes over the child's shoulder, but not in
front of his neck. Pic.7.
To reach the right belt position, you can easily
adjust the backrest height by following these
operations:
To raise the backrest: pull the backrest
upwards, grasping onto it by means of the han-
dle at the top on the back until the upper part
of the safety belt diagonal harness is properly
positioned above the child's shoulders.
To lower the backrest: pull the backrest
slightly upwards, push the backrest adjustment
button (1) on the top of the backrest and hold.
