Dear customer,
thank you for choosing Aston b.fix child car seat.
All Brevi car seats are rigorously tested to the
very latest European Safety Standards. To reach
this Standard each car seat has to pass a strin-
gent series of tests. All of this ensures that you
can be confident that your car seat is one of the
safest and most confortable car seats available.
The child car seat Aston b.fix can be
fitted on the most part of the vehicles
equipped with Isofix ancor points,
but always in combination with the-
child car seat safety belt. To check
if your car is suitable for Isofix at-
tachment (see the list of compatible
vehicles).
Product information
This child car seat has been designed and
tested to comply with the latest European
standards for group 2 & 3 child car
seats. This child car seat has been
designed for children weighing from
15 to 36 kg; 3 to 11 years of age ap-
proximately.
All ages given are approximate because all chil-
dren grow at different rates, the weights given
are the main safety issue.
NOTICE:
The Aston b.fix Brevi child car seat is approved
for two different installation methods:
Method 1: UNIVERSAL category, the child
car seat is secured through the vehicle's 3 point
harness system with inertia reel.
Method 2: SEMI-UNIVERSAL category,
the child car seat is secured to the seat via Isofix
connectors, while the child is secured with the
vehicle's 3 point harness system (see the list of
compatible vehicles).
Method 1
(UNIVERSAL category, use of the ve-
hicle's 3 point harness system only)
This is a "Universal" child restraint. It is ap-
proved to ECE Regulation 44/04 for general
use in vehicles and will fit most, but not all,
child car seats.
Proper installation is more easily achieved
when the vehicle manual shows that this is
suitable for installation of "Universal" catego-
ry child restraint devices for the correspon-
ding age groups (in this case, groups 2 and
3).
This child restraint has been declared "Uni-
versal" under more stringent conditions than
those applied to earlier designs which do not
carry this notice.
If in doubt, contact either the child restraint
manufacturer or the retailer.
