minutes with closed lid to remove the typically smell of new appliances.
Baking
Plug in. The red light turns on to indicate mains connection. Green light is off. Turn the
temperature dial to selected temperature level. Item stars to heat up, red light is on, green
light is off as long as heating-up.
The re-heating time takes approx. 3-5 minutes. When the temperature is reached, the
temperature control cuts off, green light turns on (ready for us).
Note: Red light indicates power-on. Green light indicates "temperature reached / standby"
Preheat the waffle maker for about 5 minutes with closed lid. As soon as the green light
switches on, the waffle maker is ready for use. The baking temperature is reached. Before
using the item for the first time, you may grease the baking surfaces slightly. Fill some dough
into the middle of the bottom mould. Do not take too much dough to avoid overflow. Close
the lid and press down gently to help spread the dough. Filling needs to be done quickly, to
ensure that your waffles are evenly brown. When baking process is finished remove the
waffle immediately. Please take wooden spatula only to remove the waffles. Never take
sharp or metallic objects to avoid scratches on the non stick coated surface of the baking
plates.
Check the level of browning and adjust the baking time if necessary.
After each use unplug the appliance to switch off. Let the appliance cool down
completely and clean as described in chapter "cleaning and storing".
