ASSEMBLY STEPS
Ia
Anchoring to the fl oor:
1. Find the right place to assemble the instrument. Once the installation is complete, the substrate must provide adequate
cushioning properties and meet the requirements of EN1176-1:2017.
2. Place the frame for fl at anchoring (M) and 2x anchors to the fl at surface for mallet's poles (P) in the desired position
and mark the slots. The distance between the instrument frame axis and each anchor axis should be 425mm. Note that
the appropriate holes (top and bottom) in the pole anchor's bushings should heading to the right direction shown in the
picture Ia-1-2.
3. Drill 10 holes for anchors with a depth of min. 90mm.
4. Remove the dust from the drilled holes
5. In drilled holes, fasten 10 rods M12x110 (O) with a chemical anchor. Anchor on the foundation strictly according to re-
commendations of the chemical anchor manufacturer, with special care and with regard to assembly data such as min.
depth and diameter of drilling and binding time. The upper surface of the anchor should not protrude above the fl oor
by more than 20mm. Optionally, you can use M12 mechanical anchors (not included) to be installed in accordance with
the manufacturer's instructions. The ends of the anchors and nuts protruding above the fl oor shall be secure in such a
way as to prevent injury.
6. After binding chemical anchors in the fl oor, set the frame (M) and 2x fl at anchors (P) on the anchored threated bars and
screw it with 10x Assembly Kits No. 5 (N). Threaded connections to be secured with threadlocker (L).
7. Put 2x mallet's poles – Assembly Kit No. 3 (J) on 2x pole's fl at anchors (P) and tight each of them with 4x Assembly Kit
No. 4 (K). Threaded connections to be secured with threadlocker (L).
Ib
Anchoring to the ground:
1. Fix 2x Assembly Kit No. 7 (W) in corresponding holes of ground anchor pipe (T).
2. Fix 2x Assembly Kit No. 7 (W) in corresponding holes of mallt's pole ground anchor pipe (S). Repeat the action for
another pole's anchor.
3. Put instrument's frame (U) on the ground anchor assembled in step Ib-1 and tight with 4x Assembly Kit No. 6 (R). Thre-
aded connections to be secured with threadlocker (L).
4. Put mallet's pole (Assembly Kit No. 3) (J) on the mallt's pole ground anchor assembled in step Ib-2 and tight with 4x
Assembly Kit No. 4 (K). Threaded connections to be secured with threadlocker (L). Repeat it with another mallet's pole
(J) and pole's anchor.
5. Find the right place to assemble the instrument. The substrate at the selected location should be fi rmly dense to ensure
a suffi ciently strong and stable mounting of the device. Once the installation is complete, the substrate must provide
adequate cushioning properties and meet the requirements of EN1176-1:2017.
6. Dig a hole with the shape and dimensions shown in the drawing Ib-5-6a, and to a depth of 850 mm. Straighten the
bottom of the hole and beat the ground. At the bottom, place and beat approx. 50mm layer of the priming.
7. Place the assembled instrument's frame set (step Ib-3) and 2x mallet's pole sets (step Ib-4) vertically in the dug hole
so that the ground level indication on all frames covers with the planned level of the play area. The distance between
frame and each pole axis should be 425mm. Note that the appropriate screws (top and bottom) fi xing frame and pole
with its anchors should heading to the right direction shown in the drawing Ib-7-8. Fix the position of frame and poles
i.e. with bricks or stones and make sure that it is mounted straight and vertically.
8. Protect the above-ground parts of the frame and poles against concrete splashes. Mix suffi cient amount of concrete to
fi ll the hole. Strictly follow the instructions of the concrete manufacturer. Pour down the hole with concrete (the upper
surface of the concrete foundation min. 400mm below the ground surface) and then again make sure that construction
is mounted straight. These guidelines are merely recommendations - the concrete anchor should not pose a safety
hazard and must meet the requirements of EN-1176-1:2017 standards.
9. Allow concrete to bind before proceeding to step 10. Recommended time min. 10 hours.
10. Cover visible concrete with soil so that the substrate is again equal. Make sure the substrate is safe and meets the
requirements of EN 1176-1:2017.
II
Installation of the instrument:
1. Fasten Playing Set (A) to the frame of the instrument using 4x Assembly Kit no.2 (F) and 2x EPDM washers (D).
Assembling the set, it should be noted that no end of the screws stick out over the edge of "bolt cover for bolt
M6 – part 1" (item 1a) more than 3 mm.
2. On the steel fl ange of frame place the 1x seat's bottom panel (C) and 1x seat's top panel (B) and fi x it with 4x
Assembly Kits no.1 (E). Repeat the action for the second seat on the opposite side of the instrument.
3. Firmly screw the end of 1x mallet's line (I) to steel fl ange of mallet's pole – Assembly Kit No.3 (J) with the screw
and clamping plate of this set. After screwing up the line should be directed towards the instrument. Repeat the
action for another mallet and mallet's pole.
4. Screw 1x mallet's hanger (G) to the pole's fl ange with 4x button head screws (H). Repeat the action with
another mallet's hanger (H) and mallet's pole at the other side of the instrument.
