THE VACUUM PACKING SYSTEM FOR THE HOME

you for your confidence in us. You are advised to
carefully read these directions, which will enable
you to use the MAGIC VAC

APPLIANCE NAMES AND FUNCTIONS

ON(I)/OFF(0) switch – Press to turn on the
MAGIC VAC
, keep the switch on OFF (0) when

you are not using it.

ON indicator light – When the appliance is on,
the indicator light is green.

VACUUM indicator light – Turns yellow when
the vacuum level is reached.

MAN VAC button – Pressing this button will
cause the vacuum pump to work continuously and
cancel the automatic cycle setting.

MAN SEAL button – Can be turned on at any
time.

TIME SEAL button – Selects the sealing time
shown by the indicator light 6a or 6b.
6a SEAL MIN. – Minimum value, recommended
for sealing several bags.
6b SEAL MAX – Maximum value, recommended
for sealing wet bags.

Roll compartment lid – For keeping a roll of
bags within reach and ready to use.

Lid – Opening the lid into the fixed raised positi-
on allows you to position the bags before starting
the vacuum packing process.

Lid manual valve – Press it to stop the vacuum
packing cycle at any time or to open the lid at the
end of the cycle.
10 Tube air inlet – To insert the connection tube-

containers, universal caps, bottle caps etc.
11 Bag cutter – Press and slide in one direction or
another to cut bags of the desired size.

tions handy for further reference.
12 LOCK buttons – In the locked position they
secure the lid in place while the vacuum packing
cycle is under way in bags, jars and containers;
they release automatically.
13 Sealing gasket – It presses the bag on the
sealing bar.
14 Airtight gaskets – They guarantee that a
vacuum will be maintained in the chamber, thus
allowing air to be removed from bags and contai-
ners.
15 Tray-shaped vacuum chamber – To position
the open end of the bag inside the chamber, draw
air from the bag and collect any excess liquid.
16 Sealing bar – Teflon-coated heating element
that seals the bag and prevents it from sticking to
the bar.
17 Dust filters – They prevent dust from getting
inside the pump and causing damage. The filters
can be easily removed for cleaning.
18 Bag guides – They aid in the positioning of rolls
and pre-cut bags prior to vacuum packing.
19 Non-slip feet – They prevent the appliance from
slipping during use.
