Cleaning and Maintenance

Warning
■ Turn off the air conditioner and disconnect the power before cleaning the air
conditioner to avoid electric shock.
■ Do not wash the air conditioner with water to avoid electric shock.
■ Do not use volatile liquids to clean the air conditioner.
1. Open the panel
Pull the groove on both sides of panel forcibly to open
vacuum
lukewarm water and soft detergent, then let it
dry completely in a shaded area before re-installing.
Note:
Clean the filter after 250 hours of operation. Clean filter more frequently
if the area is very dusty.
The fins inside the air conditioner are made of metal; do no touch fins after
removing filter to avoid scratching.
Do not dry the filter with fire or heat (eg. hair dryer). The filter may become
deformed or catch fire.
Do not operate the air conditioner when the filter is not installed.
Clean the panel
If the front panel is very dirty, clean it with a soft dry cloth or a damp cloth with
soft detergent. Do not spray water or other liquids on the panel.
Note:
Do not remove the panel when cleaning it.
Check outer case
Check the outer case of air conditioner once or twice every year. If the outer case
is found damaged or rusted, please contact dealer.
Note:
To minimize damage or rust on the air conditioner during the off-season,
use an air conditioner protective cover.
Maintenance
wash it in a solution of
push panel back in its original position.
