Warning
● Observe all governing codes and ordinances.
● Do not use a damaged or non-standard power cord.
● Use caution and common sense during installation of the air conditioner to avoid
damage or personal injury.
Selecting the location
Location requirements
Installing the unit in one of the following locations may cause malfunctions. If unavoid-
able, please consult Customer service for advice.
1. A location with strong heat sources, vapours, flammable or explosive gas, oil,
sulfur gas, or volatile objects in the air.
2. A location with high-frequency devices (such as welding machines or medical
equipment).
3. A location in close contact with salt spray (coastal areas).
Installation requirements
1. There should be no obstruction near air inlet and air outlet.
2. Select a location where the condensation water can be dispersed easily and
won't affect other people.
3. The location should be able to withstand the weight of unit and won't increase
noise and vibration.
4. Select a location where the noise and outflow air will not affect your
neighborhood.
5. Select a location out of reach for children and away from animals or plants. If
this is unavoidable, add fence for safety purposes.
6. The air conditioner must be placed close enough to an electric socket to be
plugged in without an extension cord.
