Before installation, check the baffle to be used and make sure the maximum permissible
length has not been exceeded, by means of a simple calculation:
1.
Completely establish the layout of the system of split flues, including accessories
and outlet terminals.
2.
Consult the table 4 and identify the losses in m
ponent, according to the installation position.
3.
Check that the sum total of losses is less than or equal to the maximum permissible
length in table 3.

4. SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE
All adjustment, conversion, commissioning and maintenance operations must be carried
out by Qualified Personnel.
FERROLI declines any liability for damage and/or injury caused by unqualified and un-
authorised persons tampering with the unit.
4.1 Adjustments
Gas conversion
The unit can operate on natural gas or LPG and is factory-set for use with one of these
two gases, as clearly shown on the packing and on the dataplate. Whenever a different
gas to that for which the unit is preset has to be used, a conversion kit will be required,
proceeding as follows:
1.
Replace the nozzles at the main burner, fitting the nozzles specified in the technical
data table in cap. 5, according to the type of gas used.
2.
Remove the gas baffle
Ø 45
3.
Modify the parameter for the type of gas:
•
put the boiler in standby mode
Ø 50
•
press the RESET button for 10 seconds: LEDs blink fast for 2 seconds
No baffle
•
red LED on
•
press the RESET button for 5 seconds: LEDs blink fast for 2 seconds
•
turn the DHW knob (ref. 2 - fig. 1) to min. (for operation with natural gas) or to
max. (for operation with LPG)
•
press the RESET button for 5 seconds: LEDs blink fast for 2 seconds
•
green LED on
•
turn the heating knob (ref. 1 - fig. 1) to min. and then to max.
•
the boiler will return to standby mode
•
turn the knobs to the set temperatures
4.
Adjust the min. pressure and check the max. pressure at the burner (ref. relevant
section), setting the values given in the technical data table (see cap. 5) for the type
of gas used
5.
Apply the sticker contained in the conversion kit, near the dataplate as proof of the
conversion.
TEST mode activation
Press the RESET button 3 times within 3 seconds to activate the TEST mode. The boiler
lights at the maximum heating power set as described in the following section.
To be sure that the boiler works at 100% power, turn the heating knob (detail 1 fig. 1) to
min. and then to max.
Press the RESET button again 3 times within 3 seconds to exit the TESTmode. On ex-
iting the TEST mode, the set max. heating power will not be changed.
TEST mode is automatically disabled in any case after 15 minutes.
