Additional power pack
Concealed mounting of an additional power pack below the intermediate cover is
possible to meet an increased power consumption.
The additional power pack is screwed to the door frame.
Make allowance for the minimum installation space for the power pack and extra
space possibly required by the switch and the pushbutton.
Smallest possible cover length:
Including additional power pack
Without additional power pack
Installation
Disconnect both pre-assembled ON/OFF switches at the end cap
of the basic module; they are no longer needed and the opening
serves as cable duct.
Shortening the cover:
- Option 1: the intermediate cover length is correct as supplied.
- Option 2: the intermediate cover needs to be cut to size on site; take the exact
measures between the side elements of the Slimdrive SD.
IMPORTANT: Do not cut off the portion containing break-out for the ON/OFF
switches!
- Option 3: the intermediate cover will already be cut to size at the factory prior to the
final assembly.
The following applies to the cover length L1:
