Selections by the User Manual
Mode with available data entry
The Type of Vehicle must always be set and it must
be done before extracting the arm to read the rim
positions.
5.13.1
Distance manual entry
X = Distance between cabinet edge and rim
A = Value X (as measured) less 5 mm (= Value to be
entered).
— Measure the distance X (Fig. 5-30) between cabinet
edge and rim.
The value A to be entered corresponds to X less 5mm.
— Press the arrows for Distance (A, Fig. 4-6) to set
the calculated value.
— Press on the value to assign the value once the
desired value is reached.
5.13.2 Manual entering of the rim Width
— Manual measurement with gauge for steel rims
(Figure 5-31) or data acquisition from the rim.
• Acquire rim nominal length by reading the value on
the rim.
— Press on the Length value (B, Fig. 4-6), or the
relative green arrows; the number box indicates
the possibility of editing the value.
— Manually turn the wheel forward or back to obtain
the value corresponding to that measured or read
or obtained by using the arrows, then press again to
set the value.
Note: The Width value is shown in red (A2, Fig.
4-6) if the value is not assigned to the
machine.

Manual entering of the diameter
• Acquire rim diameter by reading the value on the
rim or on the tyre.
• Press on the Diameter value (C, Fig. 4-6), or the
relative green arrows; the number box indicates the
possibility of editing the value.
— Manually turn the wheel forward or back to obtain
the value corresponding to that measured or read
or obtained by using the arrows, then press again to
set the value.
