Introduction to REVITIVE
Indications for use
Using REVITIVE Arthritis-Knee is intended to:
•
Reduce pain and discomfort associated with knee osteoarthritis, or
following knee surgery. Reduce pain and discomfort in the legs caused
by poor circulation (Peripheral Arterial Disease), or caused by diabetic
peripheral neuropathy;
•
Reduce swelling in the knee caused by osteoarthritis, or in the ankle
following acute ankle injury;
•
Improve circulation in the legs caused by being immobile following lower
limb surgery. Improve circulation caused by poor circulation (Peripheral
Arterial Disease, or Chronic Venous Insufficiency);
•
Increase muscle strength in the legs of people with knee osteoarthritis,
patients following lower limb surgery; and people affected by COPD;
•
Increase walking distance before the onset of claudication symptoms (pain) –
caused by Peripheral Arterial Disease;
•
Improve symptoms associated with varicose veins/ Chronic Venous
Insufficiency.
When using REVITIVE to deliver Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve
Stimulation (TENS), it is intended to provide:
•
Relief of chronic pain in the knee caused by osteoarthritis;
•
Temporary relief of post-surgical pain in the knee;
•
Relief of chronic neuropathic pain;
•
Relief of chronic elbow or shoulder pain caused by injury or overuse;
•
Temporary relief of lower back pain;

The above intended purpose is included on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods
(ARTG).
