Communication accessories

8. Communication accessories
These charging stations have an RS-485 data bus, and the INGEREV GARAGE Wall and INGEREV GARAGE One
stations have two RJ45 connectors that allow a RS-485 connection between different stations. Configuration and
monitoring of all stations is carried out using the software provided by Ingeteam.
All the charging stations can be accessed either locally or remotely. For remote connection they use an external
modem located in the installation or a modem supplied in the charging station if requested upon placing the order.
This section explains the wiring process for local connection, whereby this type of connection is available as
standard (except for INGEREV GARAGE Basic).
In order to install and operate the communication accessories that enable remote communication,
see the Communication Accessory Manual for INGEREV charging stations.
The cable glands required for the communications cabling are not supplied with the charging station.
The required cable gland size is M16.
