12.2. Setting the date/time
The time and date are set automatically by the radio reception. You can still carry
out a manual setting:
Switch the device to standby mode.
Press and hold the I N F O / T I M E button until 24H flashes in the display.
Use or to select the time format: 12 hours (12H) or 24 hours (24H) and
confirm with I N F O / T I M E .
Use or to set the hours and then press I N F O / T I M E to confirm.
Use or to set the minutes and then press I N F O / T I M E to confirm.
Use or to select the year. Then press I N F O / T I M E to confirm the selec-
tion.
Use or to select the month. Then press I N F O / T I M E to confirm the se-
lection.
Use or to select the day. Then press I N F O / T I M E to confirm the selec-
tion.
The settings have been made.
13. Bluetooth mode
You can use Bluetooth to play tracks wirelessly from external devices such as MP3
players or mobile phones with Bluetooth on this DAB radio.
Press the M O D E button once or multiple times until BT MODE appears in
the display.
13.1. Connecting Bluetooth devices for the fi rst time
Switch on Bluetooth mode as described above. Enable the Bluetooth function
on your external device as well.
CONNECTING flashes in the display. The radio is in pairing mode.
Perform pairing on the external device. Refer to the instructions for your exter-
nal device for more information. The audio system's name is "MD 43951".
CONNECTED appear in the display and the pairing process is now complete;
the external device can now be used with the radio.
If you want to stop data transfer via Bluetooth, switch off the Bluetooth function
on the external device or press M O D E to switch to a different mode.
To cancel the connection to a currently connected device, press and hold down
the M E N U button until UNCONNECTED appears in the display.
Known external devices, which have already been paired once, will be connected
again automatically in the future. It is not necessary to pair the devices again. To re-
connect, simply activate Bluetooth mode on both devices.
