Ventilation openings
Clean the ventilation openings regularly to prevent the appliance from overheating. All Spring induction cooktops
are equipped with a washable metal grease filter on the bottom of the appliance. This filter protects the inside of the
appliance from grease in order to prevent malfunctions. The filter can be removed for cleaning, without the use of
tools and without turning the appliance over. Wash the grease filter by hand or in the dishwasher at regular intervals,
at least once a month, depending on how dirty it is. Also check and clean the ventilation openings on the back of
the appliance. They can become blocked by dust and grease. If the ventilation openings do not allow proper
ventilation, the induction cooktop automatically switches off due to overheating.
